I don't think it's realistic to have a checklist of requirements and know better than to look for a perfect partner. So I'll keep it simple, I prefer to surround myself with people who have something going on in their lifes (ummm a decent jop or in pursuit of one in school), plus strive to be Positive, Down to Earth (BIGGIE!), Nice (you know friendly to service people even after a few drinks) & Responsible (irresponsible types drive me crazy!) - I think that's a good base for a solid friendship.
